Fitness File is a new online tool just for educators. It makes administering
the Physical Fitness and Health Fitness tests as simple as possible - from
setting up tests and entering results to creating reports and determining
student awards.
It only takes a few steps to start using Fitness File at your school:
1. Register as a Challenge Coordinator
The Challenge Coordinator is the administrator who keeps track of all student
and instructor information at your school. The Coordinator's responsibilities
include:
-
Entering records for students and instructors at your school
-
Maintaining up-to-date student and instructor information
-
Running fitness testing reports for your school
There can only be one Challenge Coordinator per school. If you're an instructor
as well as the Coordinator for your school, you'll need to register as the
Coordinator first. Once you upload instructor information, you can then log in
as an instructor.
2. Upload student and instructor information
The next step for the Challenge Coordinator is to add student records and
instructor information, either by manually entering information for each one or
uploading them all at once.
3. Inform instructors
Fitness File will automatically generate an email message to coordinators that
includes instructor log-in information. Coordinators can use this to create an
email or flyer for instructors so they can begin testing.
